On board

There are eight places to dine, including the main Compass Rose and a line of specialty restaurants. Four new productions, among them Pasión, Ignite the Night, Marauder's Ball and ICONS, are described for this ship.

A Fabergé egg titled Journey in Jewels is displayed on board as the ship's emblem. There is a great deal of art, giving the feel of a floating gallery.

In numbers

Dividing gross tonnage by passenger capacity gives a rough "ship size per guest" of about 74 GT (Japan's Asuka II is about 58 GT). The larger the figure, the more room per guest. Dividing guests by crew gives about 1.4 guests per crew member, against about 1.8 for Asuka II; the lower the figure, the more attentive the staffing is said to be. These are simple divisions of the figures given in this article; they do not measure how busy a ship feels or the quality of service.

Who she suits

She suits travelers who want large cabins and attentive service. Routes range across the Caribbean, the Panama Canal and world-cruise segments, so you can choose by the waters you want to visit.
