Silver Nova: Silversea's All-Suite Newbuild, in Photos and Data
Silver Nova is operated by Silversea Cruises, a line based in Monaco. She entered service in 2023, and every cabin on board is a suite.
This article uses figures from the official page and press coverage, together with real photographs, to set out what makes Silver Nova distinctive. Later on it compares her numbers with Japan's Asuka II.

Cabins and suites
Every cabin is a suite. Even the smallest category is about 49 sq m (527 sq ft), and the upper suites are described as about 90 to 120 sq m (968 to 1,292 sq ft) including the veranda. Categories run from Junior Grand through Silver, Signature, Master, Grand and Owner's to Otium.
The ship's shape is unusual. Her design is asymmetrical rather than mirrored, and many suites are advertised with a 270-degree view from sea to sky. Butler service is described as available for every suite.

On board
Nine dining venues are on offer. The ship also has bars and lounges, a spa (Otium), a fitness centre, a casino, boutiques and a library. The pool area is described as about 130 sq m.
Her main fuel is LNG, and she is fitted to connect to shore power. She is designed as a newer-generation ship with a lower environmental footprint.
In numbers
Dividing gross tonnage by passenger capacity gives a rough "ship size per guest" of about 75 GT (Japan's Asuka II is about 58 GT). The larger the figure, the more room per guest. Dividing guests by crew gives about 1.3 guests per crew member, against about 1.8 for Asuka II; the lower the figure, the more attentive the staffing is said to be. These are simple divisions of the figures given in this article; they do not measure how busy a ship feels or the quality of service.
Who she suits
She suits travelers who want large suites and attentive service. The generous space per guest also appeals to anyone who wants to avoid crowded decks. Fares are on the high side, so it pays to compare routes and dates carefully.
